
Tata Power - Intranet & Other Applications
Lateral Praxis maintains the Intranet for Tata Power which consists of a suite of 19 applications, detailed below, and is continuously growing with the addition of applications which work as satellite systems to SAP and e-enable all processes currently not part of SAP. The intranet is accessed by 3000 users spread across various locations of the company on a daily basis.
The biggest project amongst these is the Customer Information System which captures the process right from the time where a potential consumer requests for a power connection and he is finally assigned a consumer number and Internal Audit Tracking system which tracks the progress and completion of all internal audits currently done within the company. This system currently has 50 audit reports.
